Greetings and Salutations! I, as you might have figured out, am
Chris Jackson: an academic, musician, linux enthusiast, game
enthusiast, and orchid and hoya horticulturalist. If you'd like
to see my (often neglected) blog about the ups and downs of growing
orchids in semi-adverse environments, you only have to click here. If you'd
rather read about my thoughts and homebrew ideas for tabletop RPGs
(mainly D&D), you can refer to this. If
that's not your speed, perhaps you are interested in the amplifier
cabinets that I build, which has a very brief page located here.
If, instead, you'd like to see a summary of my academic interests and
achievements, that page is located here.
Lastly, if you're curious what I am musically up to these days, there
is a very brief summary here
(but I'll give you a hint, recently it's not much... but I hope to soon
rectify that, so refer back!).
I've got a lot that I do "behind the scenes" (i.e. that I don't post to
the internet about), which includes a recent interest in linux-PalmOS
integration, a never-ending battle with scale insects and spider mites
on my plants, growing roses and tomatoes out in my garden, and reading,
always reading, mostly science fiction, weird fiction, and Agatha
Christie. If you'd like me to sum up my interests, what I spend
the most time thinking about, it's witches, linux, video games,
tabletop RPGs, gardening, and science fiction and fantasy.
